Purpose? Restrictions? Format?

OK, folks. Probably some changes coming.

1. Per some members, the format, colors, etc. need to be spruced up. I'll see what I can do, but after all, I'm an engineer.

2. Some have wondered if we should make the blogs and comments viewable only by the family. Some are not comfortable writing about family stuff in the open network. What do you think? If we close it, everyone would have to have an ID and be invited to read / write to the blog. Inviting people is easy and I don't mind doing that at all. Several people have signed up and created new topics already. (That's a good thing.)

3. How do we want to use this thing? It seems like the best use would be in planning family stuff when decisions need to be made by lots of people so everyone needs to see all the "mail" - and everyone can look back to see what was decided.

4. What's the difference between the McCammish blog and the Bankhardt blog? Can we just have one? Sounds like a decent idea to me. We could keep the Bankhardt one for the larger family interaction. (Think about trying to plan a family picnic. It would be easier with a blog than emails.)

Comments!!!!!???
